We are often asked why we do not include prices on
our web site and the reason is as follows.
There are so many different acts available that to list prices
would be almost impossible. The price an act will charge varies
from booking to booking taking into account among many things,
location (which will also take into account whether accommodation
will be required), traveling time, how much equipment will
be required and the hours of the performance. As each booking
and hirer's requirements are different we hope that that you
understand the need to quote each booking on an individual
basis. People are often under the misconception that the agency
sets the price, however, it is the acts that set them. We
will always do our utmost to negotiate the best possible deal
for a client. From experience we have found, as in most aspects
of life, you get what you pay for, and usually quality comes
a little more expensive, but is worth it in the long run.
John H. Stracey is probably best known as the Former
Undisputed Welterweight Boxing Champion Of The World. No stranger
to playing the crowds John is completely at ease performing
his latest role as John H. Stracey, Cabaret Artist.
John’s cockney humor and outgoing personality makes
him extremely popular wherever he appears. He has a very natural
talent when it comes to singing and the proof of that is the
way he is always invited back to wherever he performs his
self–contained Cabaret act. He also has dots so is equally
at home with live backing musicians.
A blockbuster opening ensures the audience take notice of
this man, and from then on they remain captivated by his excellent
voice and subtle choice of songs. Songs that range from classic
ballads by Frank Sinatra and Matt Monro to up tempo numbers
like those from The Drifters, Van Morrison and Michael Bolton.
Interspersed with his singing John takes time to talk with,
and build a rapport with his audience. His southern wit and
charm along with his singing, leave audiences with little
doubt as to what they have just witnessed, and that is an
extremely likeable, talented and charming man destined for
the top of yet another worthy profession.
Why not book an audience with John H. Stracey today.

disco’s have become a feature of many events and parties.

The DJ’s we use have a wealth of experience behind them

a black tie event they wear appropriate clothing not jeans
and a tee shirt.
We have available disco’s to suit any size event from

be themed if desired. It’s the little things that make
an event and the DJ’s we use give them the attention
they deserve.

I have known Marie for over 16 years,
and the first time we met I was impressed with her voice.
Marie has worked professionally for the last five years, training
for two years with Sheridan Coldstream, (of BBC’s “Can’t
Sing Singers”) and gaining experience in venues such
as The Stables Theatre Wavendon, and Milton Keynes Theatre.
Marie’s show is self-contained and, in addition, she
has sheet music that enables her to work with resident musicians.
Her repertoire includes ballads, big band standards, rock
and roll, motown and musical theatre, as well as contemporary
songs from artists including Joss Stone and James Blunt.
Her performances reflect her genuine, warm and fun personality.
She has gained a reputation as the perfect complement to any
occasion or venue, audiences are left in no doubt they have
seen a first class vocalist, as the repeat bookings in her
diary show. Marie has just finished recording her 2nd solo
album.

Marie - Man I Feel Like A Woman
This is what Mark Ritchie, reviewer for The Stage,
had to say about Marie at 2005 Showcall Showcase. Oxford-based vocalist Marie Shipton began, aided
by a backing track, with a version of Son of a Preacher Man
before the Showcall band were called into the frame for a
rendition of Cheek to Cheek. This smooth and experienced lady
gave an assured performance, with a voice that was easy on
the ear and a smiling and personable approach.
