Marade As Cher - Gypsies, Tramps And Thieves

Marade's career began with her singing in Midland clubs at the tender age of 13. After those early beginnings Marade sang with a number of bands in the North and the Midlands learning and honing her craft and at one time supporting Status Quo as a member of Pleasure Dome. In 1999 Marade decided to pursue a solo career and to use Marade's own words "It's the best thing she ever did".

She now has a very successful solo career performing both as herself and with her tribute to Cher. Marade works closely with other top tribute acts to put on some spectacular shows, which leave audiences breathless and wanting more. Take two multi–instrumentalists with attitude, the mesmerizing Sarah James and the taciturn ex–Dr Feelgood Gordon Russell and what have you got – one helluva show for a start.

Since Two Timers formed their unique two–piece band in France 1993 they have surprised many thousands across Europe with the sheer power of their performance. Their formidable reputation and unclassifiable style has earned them guest spots with artistes as diverse as The Corrs, John Mayall, Maceo Parker, Joe Satriani and the Stranglers and legendary rockers Status Quo. They have also billed on major European festivals and made a number of European TV appearances as well as gaining a feature on BBC Radio 2.

After their initial meeting in France there followed a brief period as a four piece band and a tickle with a major record company before they decided to go it alone. Since those early days they have covered hundreds of miles across Europe as well as stints in New Zealand and Jamaica. They have also released three albums of self penned numbers on the Credo Record label, with a new album currently being planned.
